Associa Community Management Professionals Facilitates Seamless Community Repairs

This 302-unit community made up of single-family homes and townhomes is located in Ocoee, Florida. It has been managed by Associa Community Management Professionals since 2020.

Challenge:

The association received settlement funds of approximately 1.2 million dollars following aConstruction Defect lawsuit for its townhomes. They needed this money to make major stucco repairs and paint all townhome units, but the proposals they received were vague and did not include the full scope of work.

Resolution:

Associa CommunityManagement Professionals assisted with soliciting new proposals as well as project oversight. The team compiled necessary documentation, vetted vendors ,and consulted an engineering report to ensure all components were included before a new comprehensive proposal was presented for review. The project is now well underway, and the board of directors is confident in the recommendations of Associa Community Management Professionals, trust has been established, and the working relationship within the group has become stronger.
